Depression Assessment (BDI-Style)

What is this assessment?
This is a BDI-style depression assessment designed to evaluate the severity of depressive symptoms through structured statements.

How it works:
Each question contains four statements arranged in increasing severity. The individual selects the statement that best reflects their experience.

Administration:
Ask the individual to respond based on their feelings over the past 1–2 weeks.

Scoring:
Each item is scored from 0 to 3. Total score ranges from 0 to 63.

Interpretation:
0–13 → Minimal
14–19 → Mild
20–28 → Moderate
29–63 → Severe

Note: This is a screening tool and not a diagnostic instrument.
