Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: June 12, 2026
Effective for new enrollments from: June 12, 2026
This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to paid courses, internships, workshops, short-term programs, training programs, educational programs, skill-development programs, mentoring programs, practical training, and other paid educational or professional-development services offered by The Inner Bloom Counselling Services ("The Inner Bloom", "we", "us", or "our").
This Policy should be read together with the Terms & Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
1. Before Enrollment
Students are advised to carefully review the applicable program description, fee, duration, commencement date, schedule, mode of delivery, inclusions, learning resources, recording arrangements, practical components, observership arrangements, assessment requirements, certificate conditions, Terms & Conditions, and this Refund & Cancellation Policy before completing payment.
Information displayed on a particular program page, enrollment form, quotation, invoice, or other written communication may contain program-specific conditions. Where a program-specific refund or cancellation condition is expressly displayed before payment, that condition shall apply to that particular enrollment.
2. Cancellation Before Program Commencement
A student may request cancellation of an enrollment before commencement of the relevant program.
Where a cancellation request is received before program commencement, The Inner Bloom may process an eligible refund after deducting an administrative and refund-processing charge of ₹500 (Rupees Five Hundred only).
The ₹500 administrative and refund-processing charge is intended to cover reasonable administrative work and costs associated with processing the original enrollment and subsequent cancellation, including where applicable student record creation, batch or seat allocation, enrollment verification, administrative communication, scheduling and coordination, payment reconciliation, cancellation processing, refund processing, and related operational work.
The administrative charge is not intended as a penalty for cancellation. It is a disclosed processing charge applicable to an eligible pre-commencement refund.
3. Cancellation After Program Commencement
Once the relevant program has commenced, fees paid for that program are ordinarily non-refundable.
This applies whether or not the student subsequently attends individual classes, sessions, practical activities, mentoring sessions, observerships, assessments, or other components after commencement.
Program fees relate to enrollment in the program as a whole and may include, depending on the program, allocation of a place in a particular batch, faculty allocation, teaching preparation, scheduling, administration, learning resources, assessments, practical activities, supervision, mentoring, platform access, client-observership arrangements, coordination, and other program resources.
Accordingly, a student's decision not to attend a particular class or session after the program has commenced does not by itself create an entitlement to a proportionate refund for that class or session.
4. Meaning of Program Commencement
For the purposes of this Policy, a program shall be considered to have commenced on the earlier of:
- the published commencement date of the relevant batch, course, internship, workshop, or program; or
- the date on which program-specific services, orientation, onboarding, learning access, scheduled instruction, mentoring, assessment, practical training, training material, supervision, observership coordination, or another substantive program component is first made available to the enrolled student.
Students who do not intend to continue with an enrolled program should therefore submit their cancellation request before the applicable commencement point.
5. Recordings of Classes and Sessions
Where classes, webinars, workshops, demonstrations, mentoring sessions, client-observership discussions, or training sessions are recorded, recordings are supplementary learning resources and are not automatically treated as a separately purchased product or separately refundable component of the program.
Unless a particular program expressly states otherwise in writing, payment of a program fee does not create an unconditional right to receive copies of every recording of every class or session.
The Inner Bloom may determine whether recordings are made available, the period for which they remain available, the manner of access, and any applicable restrictions, taking into account educational requirements, confidentiality, privacy, intellectual-property rights, technical limitations, participant consent, client confidentiality, and other legitimate considerations.
Recordings may contain discussions, demonstrations, case material, training examples, participant contributions, or other information that may not be suitable for unrestricted distribution.
6. Educational Materials, Assessments and Practical Components
Program fees may include access to educational material, presentations, assessments, practical exercises, case studies, case discussions, mental status examination training, counselling practice, demonstrations, assignments, mentoring, supervision, psychology laboratory activities, observership opportunities, or other learning components depending on the specific program.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, these components are part of the overall program and are not individually refundable, transferable, or separately valued for the purpose of calculating a refund after commencement.
7. Continuous Guidance, Mentoring and Supervision
Where a program includes continuous guidance, mentoring, supervision, doubt-clearing, faculty interaction, counselling-practice guidance, administrative support, or similar support, such support forms part of the overall program offering and is not treated as an individually refundable service after program commencement.
8. Live Client Observerships and Client-Related Learning
Where a program includes live client observerships, supervised observations, case discussions, demonstrations, practical exposure, or other client-related educational activities, the availability, timing, format, and frequency of such activities may depend upon client consent, confidentiality, scheduling, suitability, professional considerations, and operational availability.
The Inner Bloom does not guarantee that every student will observe a particular client, case, condition, session, or specific number of observations unless such guarantee is expressly stated in the applicable program description.
Client information and session material must not be copied, recorded, photographed, downloaded, published, redistributed, or disclosed by students except where expressly authorized by The Inner Bloom and permitted by applicable law and consent requirements.
9. Certificates and Completion
Where a program provides a certificate, certificate issuance may be subject to the program's stated attendance, participation, assessment, assignment, completion, conduct, payment, or other eligibility requirements.
Payment of a program fee alone does not guarantee issuance of a certificate where the applicable completion requirements have not been satisfied.
10. Website Content, Logos, Branding and Intellectual Property
All website content, including text, course material, presentations, graphics, photographs, videos, recordings, logos, trademarks, service marks, designs, templates, documents, assessment materials, training frameworks, written resources, software, page designs, and other intellectual property belonging to or licensed to The Inner Bloom remains the property of The Inner Bloom or the relevant rights holder.
Enrollment in a program grants the student only the limited access required to participate in the applicable program. It does not transfer ownership or intellectual-property rights to the student.
Students must not reproduce, resell, publish, upload, distribute, transmit, modify, commercially exploit, sublicense, share login credentials for, or otherwise make available The Inner Bloom's proprietary content, recordings, presentations, assessments, logos, branding, training material, or other protected material without prior written authorization.
Nothing in this Policy grants permission to use The Inner Bloom name, logo, branding, website content, certificates, training material, or other intellectual property for advertising, commercial representation, endorsement, affiliation, or other purposes without prior written approval.
11. Short-Term Programs, Workshops and Standalone Activities
This Policy also applies to short-term courses, workshops, masterclasses, webinars, demonstrations, seminars, and other standalone educational activities unless a different refund condition is expressly displayed before payment.
Where a short-term program has a fixed commencement date and limited capacity, cancellation after commencement is ordinarily non-refundable because the student's participation opportunity and associated resources have already been allocated.
12. Internships and Career Programs
This Policy applies to internships and career-development programs, including Foundation, Career, Career Plus, Career Plus Pro, and other similarly structured programs offered by The Inner Bloom, unless program-specific written terms state otherwise.
Where such programs include multiple components such as training, practical exposure, assessments, supervision, mentoring, platform onboarding, observerships, business or professional-development guidance, or other services, the program is treated as an integrated service rather than as a collection of independently refundable classes.
13. Non-Attendance After Commencement
Failure to attend a class, session, practical, workshop, mentoring session, observership, assessment, or other scheduled activity after commencement does not by itself constitute cancellation of the enrollment and does not automatically create a refund entitlement.
Students are responsible for reviewing schedules and communicating any difficulty in participating as early as reasonably possible.
14. Exceptional Circumstances
The Inner Bloom may review exceptional circumstances on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the circumstances, The Inner Bloom may consider a refund, credit, transfer to another batch, rescheduling, or another reasonable accommodation.
Any exceptional accommodation provided in an individual case is a discretionary resolution of that particular case and does not automatically create a contractual entitlement or precedent for other students or future enrollments.
15. Cancellation or Non-Delivery by The Inner Bloom
If The Inner Bloom cancels a program before it is substantially delivered, or is unable to provide a substantial portion of the services for which payment has been made, the circumstances will be reviewed separately.
Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate refund, transfer, rescheduling, alternative arrangement, or other resolution may be provided for the portion of the service that cannot reasonably be delivered.
16. Refund Request Procedure
Refund and cancellation requests must be submitted in writing through:
- Email: info@theinnerbloom.co.in
- WhatsApp: +91 81239 69522
The request should include the student's full name, enrolled program, payment details, date of enrollment, and reason for the request.
The Inner Bloom will review the request against the Policy and the terms applicable to the relevant enrollment and communicate the decision in writing.
17. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will ordinarily be processed through the original payment method or another payment method agreed with the student.
Processing time may depend upon the payment gateway, bank, UPI provider, or other payment service involved.
18. Policy Applicable to an Enrollment
The Refund & Cancellation Policy applicable to an enrollment is the version that was presented to the student and made available for review before the student completed that enrollment.
The Inner Bloom may maintain records of the applicable policy version, acceptance date and time, enrollment details, payment information, and related communications for administrative and dispute-resolution purposes.
19. Acceptance and Acknowledgement
For future paid enrollments, The Inner Bloom may require students to provide affirmative acknowledgment that they have read, understood, and accepted the applicable Terms & Conditions and this Refund & Cancellation Policy before completing payment.
Students are responsible for reviewing these documents before completing payment and should contact The Inner Bloom before payment if any provision requires clarification.
20. Applicable Law and Consumer Rights
This Policy is governed by the applicable laws of India.
Nothing in this Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive any consumer right, statutory protection, or legal remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
